Last few months we received many e-mails of players who lost their passwords or someone changed them.
Most of you think that your account is "hacked".
But there is no such thing as "hacked account".
Here your account information is protected by the best anti-cheat and firewall systems.
Your account safety depends from you and only you.
In the following guide i will show you how to NEVER lose your account or password.
Step 1 - Password Security
We recommend you to use passwords at least with 7 - 12 symbols long.
Example for good password: s7r0ngpasz - This is one good password (don't use this one of course)
Never use simple passwords!
Never use password close or same as your character name, guild name or any other public information!
We also recommend you to keep your account name in secret. Your account will be much more safe, if nobody know it.
It will be very useful if you have your password on paper at your home, where nobody else can see it. If you have your password on paper you'll never forget it.
Step 1 Golden Rule: Never ever tell your password to anyone!
The REAL administrators, game masters, staff member will never ask for your password.
Even if they ask - Say NO!
This is your account, and nobody (even the administrator) have no right to ask for your password!
Step 2 - Email and Secure Code
When you register your account in http://infinitystar.no-ip.org/ you are required to type Secure Code. Do not ignore this field! This is very important.
If someday you lost, or you forget your password with your mail and secure code and you can always recover your password.
If you are already registered and you don't remember your secure code you can always request it at support infinitystarcabal@yahoo.com. To request your mail and secure code you must confirm that you are the owner of this account by sending us the last 3 letters/numbers of your password.
If someone in game ask for your mail or secure code - DO NOT tell it!
This is your personal information and nobody have right to request it.
Using mail and secure code you can easy and automatic see your password at the page for lost password.
Step 2 Golden Rule: Never tell your mail and secure code to anyone!
Step 3 - People who try to steal your account in game (scam).
Many of you probably received message or PM like "Hello! You won 100,000 coins" or something else.. "Please send me your account name and password to get you price."
Of course this is scam. If you send your password you won't get any coins. This user will probably change your password and steal all your items.
You can report such users in our forum. We ban them permanently.
When Game Master or Admin make event in game - We never ask for your password!
We may ask for your account name at PM, but nothing else.
Step 3 Golden Rule: NEVER TRUST ANYONE!
Even if someone say that he is Admin or GM. Do not trust anyone!
Step 4 - Websites who scam your accounts.
Probably many of you have seen websites like infinitycabal.weebly.com(example).
The creators of those sites tell you that if you complete the form you will get xx free coins.
The form you need to fill includes your e-mail, account, password and sometimes secure code.
This is the most dangerous scam, because the creator of this website will receive all the information you typed.
Even if you change your password he will be able to see it, using your secure code.
Please never believe to such websites where you receive "Free set, free coins" or something else. They are all fake!
The only way to receive FREE coins is if you vote for the server.
Step 4 Golden Rule: NEVER TYPE YOUR INFORMATION IN OTHER SITE EXCEPT INFINITYCABAL.COM!
Never log in different sites except our official domain (http://infinitystar.no-ip.org/ ).

Step 5 - E-mail scam.
Another way to scam people is the e-mail scam.
You receive e-mail like "Hello. You win something in InfinityCABAL. Please send us your account and password".
Again for sure you will be scammed.
Step 5 Golden Rule: PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR OFFICIAL E-MAIL ADDRESS!
We have only 1 e-mail box and this is infinitystarcabal@yahoo.com. Nothing else.
Step 6 - Cheat program scam.
Another popular way to scam players is .EXE programs scam.
Somebody (probably your friend) send you program and he tell you that with this program you can play with speed hack, or you can get free coins, free items, make items, get GM or whatever.
THIS IS SCAM!
Probably this program will ask you for account and password (like log in), and it will send your information to someone else, who will scam your account.
Some programs don't require account and password. They directly send your account and password, after you log in at MU.
Other programs like "Keyloggers" spy everything you do. Each click on the keyboard, and this is even worse!
Step 6 Golden Rule: DO NOT TRY TO USE ANY HACK PROGRAMS!
Don't worry. Our server is protected by GameGUard. You cannot launch hack here.
We recommend you to install good anti-virus program at your PC, like Avast, and do not accept/download any strange programs.
Step 7 - Items scam.
A lot of people are scammed by their "friends".
They give their items to other players "Just to wear it for some time" and after this they never get them back.
We do not recommend you to do this! If you give your items or account to your "friend" Infinity CABAL won't take any action in order to retrieve your items.
There are many players who want to become friends with you only, because they want to take your items by this way.
You can have as many friends you want, but... Never trust anybody about anything!
Step 7 Golden Rule: NEVER GIVE YOUR ITEMS TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO YOU CALL "FRIENDS".
